Gave the frames three coats.
Cut three pieces of cardboard to match the paper backings provided with the frames.
Then stuck the little photographs on to the fabric and tucked the fabric inside the frames.
And then hung them up! This is the view from my desk (on a very rare dreamy, sunny morning!). It cost less than £2 and only took a few hours (including time for the paint to dry).

ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes, it's ridiculously simple but a great way to re-vamp old frames or spruce up salvaged ones. Linens are lovely when used as mounts, too, I think. Even cheaper if you have paint left-over!
