I just love Heather aka Skinny LaMinx's idea for mugs with broken handles: glorious pencil holders! It makes me think how sweet they'd look as little vases.
Ha! I have done the exact same thing with a cracked mug my Dad bought me. It was too sentimental to throw away and it was handpainted terracotta so I just popped my pens and pencils in and it sits nicely in the corner of my desk!
great way to recycle, they are such pretty mugs to go to waste. I agree would also make great flower vases, I like the pink and orange especially.
