The Roof Gardens, Kensington, was the perfect venue for last night’s Take Heart India’s Annual Ball. The theme was ‘jungle fever’ and the event has (so far) raised almost £25,000 for Take Heart India - a charity run by brothers Lucian and Sebastian Tarnowski.
The charity focuses on practical education projects in India and does so mainly through its purpose-built English language and IT school. That £25,000 will go a long way, considering it only costs £37 to provide a 6 month training course.
In addition to the listed major sponsors, supporters include Colin Hallmark from 3:nine communications and Errol Douglas (who donated a £300 salon package, which was awarded to the Best Dressed Runner-Up).
