Norwegian photographer Terje Sorgjerd put together this stunning video of the aurora borealis with a collection of long-exposure photographs that he shot in Russia.
Do you remember Frasier from his debut appearance modelling the crochet granny dog-rug? I was shooting for a project over the weekend and he was sleeping nearby (and nibbling any toes and ankles that walked past him). He hadn't had his bath, but who could resist photographing that face? He's now ten-months old.

Straight from the farm. They were delicious and so much fun to pick. You never know how many you're going to find under those gnarly vines! We had them roasted, mashed and fried (that was over the course of a few weeks - they keep forever). Don't you think kids would love to help grow and harvest them?

What an awful 2011 it's been for the Asia-Pacific region. First the Queensland floods and Cyclone Yasi, then the Victorian floods, Christchurch earthquake and now the tsunami in Japan. For anyone in a position to donate, the Australian Red Cross is accepting contributions to help people affected by these disasters. Some crafters are also donating proceeds to their local relief funds via Craft Relief.
If the rumours are true, it's March. That means there's a little photograph here just waiting for you. The nice man who prints my photographs sometimes gives me small bonus prints. I don't sell them but I love to give them to you, dear readers. This time it's my Cupcakes photograph at 4x6" (it's as wide as the one below, it's just a little shorter - you can't see the blue sprinkles). Like the last two times, I'd be delighted to send it to the first reader who emails me at heidi@heidiadnum.com (who hasn't been first before). Include your postal address and I'll send it off ASAP.
