It's time again for my little photograph giveaway. Hooray! For September I'm sending out one small version of The Promenade, which is one of my favourite shots from Kenya. Thanks to Mel for the link to Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2011 place-getters and special prize winners. I think my favourite is 'Zodiac Light' by Harley Grady, who won the 'Best Newcomer' award. Catch the free exhibition at the Royal Observatory, Greenwich, London, until 12 February 2012.

beautiful jasmine

It's been five years since I've been home in Australia to enjoy the beginning of spring. With all the new growth, blossoms and balmy weather, spring is my favourite time of year. My birthday is also in spring, and this year Will and I are getting married in spring. More reasons to celebrate! I think the award for best smell of spring goes to the port wine magnolia and to beautiful, bouncy jasmine. What is your favourite season?
