our 80s pantry
Ah, old happy memories. They're such wonderful things, aren't they? The kitchen pantry in my childhood home was (and still is) one of my most favourite places. It's a walk-in kind, with a window and a set of those cafe-style wooden shutter doors. Dad or I, or both of us, would look forward to giving it a good clearing out at least once a year. Dad would re-paint the shelves or re-paper the walls and I would line up the little pots of food colouring and re-stack the stainless steel bowls. These delightful things lovingly prepared for sale on Etsy take me back...
