house-sitting

For the rest of this week, Will and I are house-sitting for friends near Bonnell's Bay, NSW. It's a lovely area with plenty of space, light and birds chirping. I'm also loving the trees - I don't think I've ever seen so many different varieties of gum trees in one place before! Their colours and textures are beautiful, don't you think?
One even had these squiggles all over it, which, at first, I thought were man-made but it turns out they're all over the trunk! Some kind of bug, perhaps?
