charity tennis exhibition

Roger Federer has just announced a charity tennis exhibition ahead of the Australian Open in Melbourne to raise money for the survivors of the Haitian earthquake.

salvoweb

You might remember this from Kirstie's Homemade Home, an art deco pink bathtub at the Burgh Island Hotel. I know a big pink 30s bath is some people's idea of a nightmare but I absolutely adore it! Somehow I got from the bathtub to SalvoWeb 'gateway to the world of architectural salvage and antiques'. The site's a bit scary but it's full of treasures and worth a look for anyone who's renovating/decorating.

goodbye tree

Gabriel Mauron has put together 'Christmas Tree: Beautiful in the living room, Glorious in the street', a project to document the final days of the real Christmas Tree as they're evicted from the house. The end had also come for this one below, yesterday resting on a gate in West London.

gourmet safaris

Looking to treat yourself in 2010? Well, if you love to travel and cook/eat, then a Gourmet Safari might be for you.

Gourmet Safaris is an Australian tour company created by Maeve O'Meara. Maeve is an expert when it comes to food, having worked for over twenty years in such roles as food and cooking author, TV presenter and producer, food writer, journalist - the list goes on. Tours range from walking tours around Sydney to luxurious international getaways. Prices cover accommodation and food, so you don't pay for travel and therefore can join the international safaris from anywhere in the world. Gift vouchers are available, too, if you know someone - whether in Australia, abroad, or planning a trip to Sydney - who would just love it but are not sure which one to choose. I can personally recommend the tours and think you should take a look!
